# Report an issue

> Send a bug, question or idea straight from the app, with context attached automatically.

Report an issue whenever something looks wrong, you have a question, or an idea for the product. Reports go straight to our team, no email needed.

## Where to find it

* A **Report an issue** button sits in the help stack in the bottom-right corner of every page, below the docs and tour buttons.
* It is also in the workspace menu, under **Help & Docs**.

## Hiding the button

If the floating button is in your way, open it and choose **Hide for this session**. It stays hidden until you close and reopen your browser. You can still open the dialog anytime from **Report an issue** in the workspace menu under **Help & Docs**.

## Choose a type

Pick one:

* **Bug**: something is broken or not working as expected.
* **Question**: you're not sure how something works.
* **Idea**: a suggestion for something new or different.

## What to write

Describe:

* What you did.
* What you expected to happen.
* What happened instead.

## What's attached automatically

We attach some context so you don't have to type it out:

* The page address you were on.
* Your workspace.
* Your browser.
* The app version.
* Any recent error messages from your browser session.

## Screenshot

A screenshot of the currently visible page is captured automatically and included by default. Check it for confidential content (drafts, client names, anything on screen) before sending, you can remove it from the dialog if you'd rather not include it. If a screenshot can't be captured, your report is still sent without one.

## After you send it

You'll see a report number and a confirmation that we've received it. We reply by email.

## My reports

Open **My reports** from the dialog to see your own reports: number, date, type and status.
