Your blog is built to be indexed. Most of the work happens without you; one five-minute step makes Google notice you faster and gives you a dashboard of what it sees.

What happens automatically

Every article page carries a canonical URL, structured data (Article, breadcrumbs, and FAQ when the article has one), a social preview image, and meta tags. Every blog site publishes:
  • a sitemap (/sitemap.xml), updated whenever you publish,
  • a robots.txt that points crawlers to the sitemap,
  • an RSS feed (/feed.xml).
When you publish, republish or unpublish, Prozly also pings IndexNow, so Bing and the search engines that share its index learn about the change within seconds. Google does not use IndexNow. It still finds your site through the sitemap and through links — from your LinkedIn teasers, your website, or anywhere else — typically within days.

Verify your blog in Google Search Console

Search Console is Google’s free dashboard for site owners: which queries bring visitors, which pages are indexed, and any problems. Registering also speeds up first discovery.
  1. Open Google Search Console and choose Add property → URL prefix. Enter your blog address exactly, e.g. https://yourcompany.prozly.site or your custom domain.
  2. Pick the HTML tag verification method and copy the tag.
  3. In Prozly, go to Blog → Settings → Search engines, paste the tag (or just its content value) and Save.
  4. Wait up to five minutes, then click Verify in Search Console.
  5. In Search Console, open Sitemaps and submit sitemap.xml once.
From then on Google re-reads your sitemap on its own. The Search engines card checks your live blog and shows when the tag is visible on your homepage; whether Google has verified it, and whether it accepted your sitemap, is shown in your Search Console account — Google doesn’t share that with Prozly.
This is the same step every hosted blog platform asks for. Google ties verification to your Google account, so no platform can do it for you.

Topics build authority

Google rewards sites that cover a subject thoroughly. Prozly’s topics do this for you: each topic page collects its articles, articles link to their cluster siblings, and the sitemap lists topic pages. Keep writing within a handful of topics rather than one article on everything.

What to expect

  • Discovery: with Search Console, new articles usually appear in Google’s index within one to seven days.
  • Ranking: for a new domain, meaningful search traffic takes months of consistent publishing. That is true of every blog; no tool changes it.
  • In the meantime: the LinkedIn teaser that Prozly can post with each article is your fastest source of readers. Add a Blog link to your website and LinkedIn profile — inbound links are the strongest discovery signal there is.
View counts on the Posts tab include every visit, not just search traffic.
