Every draft, comment, and caption Prozly generates is shaped by your brand voice. The better you define it, the less editing you’ll do.

Setting up your voice

Go to Settings → Brand Voice and fill in:
  • Tone & style — how you sound. Be specific: “direct and pragmatic, short sentences, no corporate buzzwords” beats “professional”.
  • Audience — who you’re writing for. The AI adjusts vocabulary and depth accordingly.
  • Expertise — the topics you want to be known for. This sharpens angles and keeps content on-positioning.
  • Do’s and don’ts — hard rules the AI must follow. Examples: “never use emojis”, “always write in first person”, “end posts with a question”.

Brand knowledge (RAG)

Under Settings → Brand Knowledge you can upload documents — positioning papers, service descriptions, past posts that performed well, FAQs. Prozly indexes them and pulls relevant passages into the AI’s context whenever it generates content for you. This is the difference between generic AI output and content that reflects your actual offering, terminology, and opinions.
Start with 3–5 documents that best describe what you do and how you talk about it. You can always add more — the index updates automatically.

Multiple brands

Each workspace has its own brand voice and knowledge base. If you manage several brands (e.g. your personal profile and your company page, or agency clients), keep them in separate workspaces so their voices never blend.

Iterating

Brand voice is not set-and-forget. When a draft misses your tone:
  1. Fix the draft in the editor.
  2. Ask yourself what rule would have prevented this — then add it to your do’s and don’ts.
A handful of precise rules usually gets drafts to 90% publish-ready.
