Chrome extension

The Prozly Chrome extension brings the engine into your browser. It does four things:

1. AI comments: generate on-brand comment suggestions for any LinkedIn post, in one click.
2. Import anywhere, right-click any article or page and send it to Prozly for repurposing.
3. Monitor, keep an eye on relevant content while you browse.
4. Team posts (Enterprise): see the posts your team shared with you, write your own version and publish it, all from the side panel.

Installing and connecting

1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. In the Prozly app, go to Channels → Chrome extension and click Connect extension: this generates a one-time connect code.
3. The extension exchanges the code for a secure token. Done: no password entry in the extension, ever.

The connection uses short-lived one-time codes and signed tokens. The Channels → Chrome extension page is also where you find the install link and a reminder of where the extension’s settings live.

Checking the connection

Go to Channels → Chrome extension. The card at the top shows whether an extension is connected on your account in this workspace: the date it was connected, when it was last used, and its version. Owners and admins also see which teammates have connected the extension and when they last used it. If the card says Not connected, click Connect extension and follow the steps above.

Disconnecting

The real switch is in the extension: open the Prozly side panel and choose Disconnect, or remove the extension from Chrome. That signs the extension out immediately. Disconnect on the Channels page only removes the connection record in Prozly. An extension that is still installed and signed in keeps working and shows up on the page again the next time it is used, so if you want to stop it, use the side panel.

Commenting on LinkedIn

Open any LinkedIn post and click the Prozly button. The extension reads the post and suggests comments in your brand voice: thoughtful contributions, not generic “Great post!” filler. Pick one, edit if you like, and post. Consistent, substantive commenting is one of the fastest ways to grow reach on LinkedIn: the extension makes it a 30-second habit instead of a 10-minute chore.

Importing content

Found an article worth repurposing? Right-click → Add to Prozly. It lands in your manual imports, runs through the pipeline, and is ready to transform into a post.

Learning your personal voice

The extension can import your own LinkedIn posts so Prozly learns your writing style. It’s optional, and not the only way: many corporate browsers block extensions. Team posts (employee advocacy)

On the Enterprise plan the extension also brings employee advocacy into the browser:

• A badge on the extension icon shows how many team posts are waiting for you. It refreshes every 15 minutes and whenever you open the side panel, and clears when you open the Team tab.
• The Team tab lists those posts. Write my version creates your personal version (1 credit, same as in the app). Edit it in the panel, then Publish to my LinkedIn posts it through your own connected profile. Publishing is free.
• If your LinkedIn profile is not connected yet, use Copy to post it yourself, or follow the link to connect your profile on the Advocacy page in Prozly.

Workspaces on other plans do not see the Team tab.
